Le Concours International d'Affiches participe du succès et du retentissement du Festival de Chaumont. Grâce aux envois des graphistes du monde entier, le fonds d'affiches contemporaines représente aujourd'hui, riche de ses 25 000 entrées, une des toutes premières collections françaises, formant un panorama unique de la production graphique de ces 20 dernières années dans plus de 60 pays. Une sélection des affiches reçues sera exposée à l'entrepôt des Subsistances et un jury composé de 5 graphistes de renommée internationale, représentatif de 4 continents donnera un palmarès de 3 prix, le samedi 24 mai 2008. Le même jury attribuera également un “ Excellence Award ” ICOGRADA. |
The International Poster Competition is an integral part of the resounding success of the Chaumont Festival. Thanks to submissions from graphic designers around the world, representing 25,000 entries, its catalogue of contemporary posters is one of the largest collections in France, and forms a unique panorama of graphic design production over the last twenty years in over sixty countries. A selection of posters will be exhibited at the Entrepôt des Subsistances and a jury of five internationally renowned graphic designers, representing four continents, will award three prizes on Saturday 24 May, 2008. The same jury will also hand out an ICOGRADA “Excellence Award.” |
| A savoir Les oeuvres du Concours International aux Subsistances (rez-de-chuassée) ont été décrochées le mardi 24 juin. En effet, les cadres contenant les affiches étaient infestés par des insectes. Cette présence a été jugée dangereuse pour les oeuvres. |

Thème à traiter : Le 15ème Concours « Étudiants, tous à Chaumont ! » traite cette année du sujet sociétal universel des relations entre hommes et femmes. Une sélection des affiches reçues sera exposée à l'Entrepôt des Subsistances et un jury donnera un palmarès de 3 prix, le samedi 24 mai 2008 |
Theme: “We, men and women” The 15th “Students, all to Chaumont!” Competition will be looking at the universal and social topic of relations between men and women. A selection of the received posters will be exhibited at the Entrepôt des Subsistances, and a jury will award three prizes, on Saturday, May 24th, 2008. |

Intervenants / Workshop leaders : Sept Ateliers-Workshops, sur le même thème que le Concours « Étudiants, tous à Chaumont ! » accueilleront 105 étudiants du monde entier et seront animés par Majid Abbasi (Iran–Directeur de la Biennale de l’Affiche de Téhéran), Anschlaege (Allemagne), Nicholas Blechman (USA), Doppelpunkt (Allemagne), Kiko Farkas (Brésil), Igor Gurovich (Russie) et Juliette Weisbuch (France). Seven Workshops, along the same topic as “Students, all to Chaumont!” will host 105 students from around the world, and will be lead by Majid Abbasi (Iran–Director of the Tehran Poster Biennale), Anschlaege (Germany), Nicholas Blechman (USA), Doppelpunkt (Germany), Kiko Farkas (Brazil), Igor Gurovich (Russia) and Juliette Weisbuch (France). |
